  • Pilates Props

Pilates Props is our most popular class! These sessions are always challenging and varied, and target muscles all over the body while also addressing the important deep internal core and pelvic floor muscles. I also focus on enhancing balance, body alignment and posture. A variety of props can be used in one session, such as; dumbbells, booty band, magic circle, ball and leg weights. You can easily improvise with items you have at home if you don’t have these tools (eg a strap, a cushion and two bottle of water) and all of the exercises are still doable as a body weight option.

  • Fat Blast Circuit

Fat Blast Circuit sessions are a heap of fun! Some classes are body weight only, some use props such as dumbbells and booty bands to build strength and tone, and we often incorporate some cardio. Classes combine a mix of cardio and weight-bearing exercises and work the entire body – upper, lower, and core. Sessions are timed so you get a consistent work out in every session, with sufficient rest time to get you to the next exercise. You’ll build muscles, get the heart and lungs working and feel energised after each session.

  • Pilates Circuit

Pilates Circuit sessions really take your Pilates practice to the next level and help you get the burn! All exercises are timed with just enough rest to get you to your next round. Most exercises can be performed with body weight only but the addition of booty bands and some light weights will take you to the edge! Pilates Circuit sessions blast those hard to find muscles to keep your body strong and long, improve tone and get your heart rate up!

  • Yin Yoga

Also referred to as ‘Yoga for the joints’, Yin Yoga gives us the opportunity to enjoy some stillness, work with our breath and practice the art of surrender. All poses are floor based, so there is no standing work, with the general rule that a 4 out of 10 intensity is to ultimate pace. It is a fairly silent practice where we learn to breathe, release, let go and ground ourselves. Yin Yoga is terrific for stress, anxiety, insomnia and grounding. Great for the joints and stretching tired, stiff muscles. Two yoga blocks, a strap and a bolster are often used to help support us in a deep release. This can be swapped with some books and pillows and cushions if that’s all we can get our hands on at home. Add a yin yoga class into your weekly schedule and your mind and body will thank you for it!

  • Beginner's Yoga

No experience is necessary for our Beginner’s Yoga sessions. I create some beautiful sequences to strengthen and stretch your entire body. The constant movement keeps us busy people grounded and engaged, while learning the arts mindfulness and breathwork. The fundamental yoga poses are explored. Sometimes slightly more advanced options are offered, should you wish to take them. The sessions often culminate in a guided meditation.

  • Stretch

Everybody needs to stretch! These sessions are dedicated to lengthening the muscles, and calming the mind. A deep stretch is great for overworked, tired muscles, alleviating any pain and niggles and amazing for grounding us so we can reset and start again! Highly recommended especially if you’ve been working out hard, stressed and low on sleep. Incorporating stretching into your practice even once a week makes a huge difference for both body and mind, especially if you are busy, stressed, or have overly physical or overly sedentary routines. Great to be followed by a meditation in your own time and/or a warm magnesium bath!

  • Love Your Props

Many clients have asked me over the years, what they can do with a certain prop. It seems that at one time or another, we have all bought gym equipment thinking it’s a great idea, for it to later stay home collecting dust! Love Your Props is designed to show you what you can do with these props, use them to target unexpected muscle groups, or even use them for stretching. These sessions work my creativity hard and I promise you will try something new every time!

  • Strength

Strength sessions are not for the faint hearted! They can range from 40 – 60 minutes and they are geared towards intermediate to advanced participants. In a Strength session, I will take you to the burn phase of strength training where the muscles will be worked to their limits. At this phase the muscle fibres will tear and knit back together even stronger. Great for building muscle strength and definition and speeding up your metabolism for weight loss benefits. Don’t embark on a Strength session if you are feeling weak or fatigued, and time your daily protein intake for after a session for maximum benefits.

  • Target Sculpt

In a Target Sculpt session I will really focus on one or no more than two particular parts of the body, to really get in there and work on sculpting it. These sessions are so targeted and specific that 30 minutes is sufficient for a great result. One Target Sculpt session can be followed with another focusing on another body part if you have an hour to spare and really want to sculpt that body! We do some timed and rep based session structures, with many varied sequences to sculpt and strengthen specific muscle groups of areas of the body.
